Colors you won't find anywhere else

You may already know some of our colors – others exist nowhere else. In this post we show you the difference between RAL and LINE colors, and take you into the six color worlds we developed ourselves. Inspired by the place where color works best: nature.

Color is never a side note in modular furniture. It decides whether a shelf steps back or leads the room, whether a sideboard calms you down or wakes you up. That's exactly why konektra has two color worlds: one that follows the standard, and one that exists only here.

RAL or LINE? What's the difference?

RAL colors are standardized industrial colors. They're the common denominator of the design world: RAL 9010 Pure White or RAL 7016 Anthracite Gray look the same everywhere, which makes them a perfect match for existing furniture. If you want to complement or extend your USM Haller, our RAL colors are the right choice: they blend in seamlessly.

LINE colors are our own special colors. They follow no standard, but an idea: shades that come from nature and give rooms something no standard can offer. Nobody else carries these colors. So if you want a piece of furniture that exists nowhere else, you're in the right place.

In short: RAL if you want to match what's already there. LINE if you want something of your own.

Six color worlds, six feelings

Every LINE color has its origin in nature and its own effect in the room. Let us introduce them.

LINE 1801 Rust

Warmth · Grounding · Character

Rust is the color of things that have time behind them – fired clay, warm evening light on stone, autumn leaves just before they fall. It gives rooms depth without ever being loud. A sideboard in Rust feels like a piece with a history, even if it arrived yesterday.

Pairs with: warm wood, linen, black – and with rooms that are meant to feel sheltering.

LINE 1802 Olive

Calm · Growth · Permanence

Olive brings the forest indoors. A color that never demands, but carries. It lets rooms breathe and sits just as naturally next to wood as next to black or chrome. No surprise that Olive is one of our most popular colors: a statement you can live with every single day.

Pairs with: natural materials, black, brass accents – from the bedroom to the office.

LINE 1901 Coral

Vitality · Optimism · Lightness

Coral is the sunrise among our colors. Warm, awake, a statement without hardness. A single piece in Coral changes the mood of an entire room. Who says precision can't have a sense of joy?

Pairs with: bright rooms, white, soft grays – and anywhere a touch of color should set the tone.

LINE 1902 Bluestone

Depth · Clarity · Focus

Bluestone is water in its calmest form. Cool, focused, in order. A color for rooms where your head needs to stay clear: the study, the library, the home office. Bluestone doesn't just sort your paperwork, it sorts your thoughts.

LINE 2101 Canvas

Clarity · Warmth · Restraint

Canvas is the new neutral. Warmer than white, quieter than gray. The color for everyone who wants reduction without it turning clinical. Canvas steps back and lets what's on the shelf take the lead: the books, the objects, your life.

Pairs with: more or less everything. Canvas is the quiet base note rooms are built on.

LINE 2201 Lagoon

Freshness · Openness · Recovery

Lagoon is the view across shallow water. Bright, open, refreshing. Our youngest LINE color brings lightness into rooms without ever looking playful. A bedside table in Lagoon is the short getaway that stays.

Pairs with: white, light wood, plenty of daylight. Ideal for bedrooms and bright living spaces.
