Day of Legends: How Sponsoring, Space, and Content Work Together 🏁✨
Day of Legends: When Motorsport History Gets Its Space
Some events are more than just dates on a calendar. The “Day of Legends: Walter Röhrl,” organized by AUTOMOBILSPORT Magazine at the Stiftung Nationales Automuseum The Loh Collection, was exactly such a moment. A day full of emotions, personal stories and living motorsport history 🏁
Upon entering the location, it was clear that this was not just an event, but a consciously designed setting for encounters. As a partner, it was our aspiration to help shape this very setting. Not through loud presence, but through quality, restraint, and a clear understanding of content and atmosphere.
Space Utilization as a Stage for Exhibits
With our modular furniture systems, we were able to structure the space clearly and use it flexibly. This created zones for presentation, exchange, and interaction. Exclusive exhibits from Walter Röhrl's personal collection were given a stage that highlighted their story without pushing itself into the foreground 🏆
Especially at events with historical and emotional depth, it becomes clear how important a sensitive approach to space is. In this context, sponsorship means taking responsibility for impact. For us, this means strengthening content and giving it the appropriate framework, rather than overshadowing it.
The modular structure allowed the space to be used differently throughout the day. Presentation, discussion, and interaction flowed seamlessly into one another, creating an open yet high-quality atmosphere.
When Stories Come Alive
A special highlight was the personal conversations and anecdotes from Walter Röhrl, his long-time co-driver Christian Geistdörfer, and Porsche engineer Roland Kussmaul. Their insights made motorsport history tangible and emotional 🎤
The openness of these conversations created a closeness rarely experienced at events of this magnitude. Especially in a clearly structured and calm environment, content could have an impact, questions could arise, and genuine dialogues could take place.
Modularity on a New Level
We were delighted to see our Element 01 in action for the first time before its official launch. It is always a special moment when an idea becomes a real user experience. The modular wooden furniture demonstrated exactly what it was developed for. With just a few simple steps, flexible and inviting seating landscapes can be created, effortlessly adapting to different situations and spaces.
It was particularly wonderful to observe how quickly a cozy seating area formed, immediately inviting people to linger. Fresh coffee from the barista could be enjoyed there in a relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by good conversations and a pleasant tranquility. It is precisely such moments that, for us, constitute the core of Element 01. A piece of furniture that is not only functional but also fosters encounters and brings spaces to life.
Our Conclusion
The “Day of Legends” impressively showed how strongly content, space, and attitude can interact. When design provides the right framework, brands become tangible, stories palpable, and encounters possible.
Such events are remembered not for individual highlights but for their overall impression. This is precisely where their lasting impact lies.
We extend our sincere thanks to AUTOMOBILSPORT Magazine, the Stiftung Nationales Automuseum The Loh Collection, and all partners and guests for their trust and successful cooperation.
